Concept

Concept: Fakhriyya

A character of mine who needed many iterations!
Her final design is in the last image.

Process

Here's a character design commission.
The client had a solid concept of the character's style
& archetype, but wanted a particular attitude for her,
which took several face and pose explorations to find.

Taking a break from the main drawing, I found the spirit
of the character in a sketch. We then did several rounds of
color & detail revisions with it to get it just right.

I then took all that info back to the main drawing.
Below is a 30s~ time lapse of it's entire process.
